Work submitted. Yay. Like mia said, struggling like half to death. Haha. Well it's a good experience though. Especially for a DM student like me. Learn new software for applications n stuff. But still need more time learning it. Lack of sleep, arguments and everything happened in finishing the project, it pays up. Fuh~.

wow....will be submitting to Miss Gee on Friday. Part relieved I guess that we will nto be submitting today... ^_^ but currently struggling to finsh up our assignment. Doing our final touches such as linking the buttons and all our pages together.

Did the final editting of our videos and re-checked the texts so that there was no typo nor were there any complicated words as we already stated our target age group in our proposal.

SO...gambateh group mates! we can do it!

Hola everyone!

Back again with another update. Sorry for the late update.All of us were very busy with assignments...phew~

On the behalf of my group, I would like to say we already submitted our Assignment 1 - Introduction. It was not up to our expectations nor was it to our Tutor's. So as a group, we decided to create a new introduction which relates more to our theme and topic.

Since the submission date is just around the corner, last minute details are being done as I am typing this journal ^_^

We all divided our task evenly, we even helped one another with each other's task, which I think is a relatively important when working in a group. The designs for the layouts were also done together, with everyone inputtin great ideas. The pictures that we are using for our backgrounds are editted with the help of Adobe Photoshop. Videos were cut using Adobe Premier, and also the audio too. ^_^

We are already done with the layouts for all the pages, buttons are already done. But we are just having problems with the button effect for example the Lingo Script. I tried doing but it did not seem to work, so we are planning to ask for some help from our tutor.... hope she can give us a hand since she is very helpful through out our assignment. ^_^

I know it is pretty late..but we are still in search for the right background music for our application...phew~ gooshh~ no more time~! need to rush! this is by far the most challenging assignments for this sem....Hope to get through it the best that we can. :)

As Mia mentioned on the previous post, we are having a sleepover at my house for this weekend!
My mum actually a bit excited too because she can..at least contribute something for our assignment..
haha..she missed her university life..

We woke up early in the morning...ermm..is 9.30am still considered as early?? hahaha..
after we had our breakfast - Sardine and Tuna toast sandwiches!
We gathered all the ingredients and tools for the roti canai making for photoshot session..
with a cloth covering the glass table for presentable purposes..
we want our pictures look like in the recipe book! aren't they neat~? :D

My mum started mixing all the ingredients while we recorded the processes..
it looked pretty simple just adding this and that then start kneading the mixtures/dough.

After it look round enough..I and Mia start to...errr..divided the dough and
added the gheeblend (minyak sapi) to make it softer and for making sure it will not
combine/mix with each another..1 kg of flour can make up till 20 pieces of roti canai~!
wohooo...

after lunch break, we continued...hahahha..this is the best part where we all tried to make our own
roti canai...hahaha
my first attempt was HORRIBLEEEEE~~!!!! *0* no..no..it wasn't my fault! its the dough fault! hahaha
haha..Mia first try also a bit...heheh..got many holes..well compared to mine...horror~ O_o"
walaa...Nabilah pretty good at making/stretching the dough..huhuhu although..still got holes..hahaha




after stretching..twirling? the dough look like Rose flower..nice~!
...DONE~! we can grill it after the stretching/twirling..what ever process it is..
My mum said after we're done this part, usually the dough will be kept at least 2..3 hours
It will be kept somewhere in the damped place..this is for making the roti canai more
softer and delicious~nyum!

Well...we....hahahha..CANT WAIT! so we just grilled it on the pan..hahah..
hmmm~~...... the smell~..... the aroma~.....
yeah..we're hungry although we just had our lunch...hahahaha.. (^0^)

before we ate it..our last photoshot session!!
we decorated and presented the roti canai on proper plate ware..with flowers..bla..bla..

hey...

As you can already read from the tutle...we are actually in the midst of doing our MCP assignment this weekend. Sleepover at Niena's house.. :P From yesterday...Friday...till tomorrow..Sunday. :P

Right now, we have just finished experimenting making our own roti canai. How cool is that?? This was my first time having hands on learning in making one myself, because all the time I only watch the Mamak's at the stalls do it. hehe ^_^

Thanks to Niena's mom for having us over and also teaching us on how to make this Roti Canai. It really helps us to actually experience it ourselves for our project. We created it from scratch. For more info...we will update later on maybe with pictures for your viewing pleasure. ^_^

I think my groupmates will all post something here later on. Want to continue our Roti Canai making at Niena's house... hehe... time to cook it!!! YEAH~ haha....wish us luck for our assignment ya'll!!

Hey there. You dearie Queenie Nab is here.

Just a short update. After a long Thursday, me & Queenie Mia decided to have supper at a mamak stall. Yes! Got the chance to take videos or pictures. So we manage to take pictures of types of roti canai, well we only got two type, and not forgetting pictures / images for our background. I've also managed to catured a short video of a worker in Presint 9 Mamak Stall 'tebaring' the roti. Hehe. Quite awkward coz some of the workers wanna look at their friends again in my video. Haha. O well, we plan to go to Queenie Niena's house next weekend to capture video clips of her mom making roti canai and capturing more images for our project. More news to come later~!!!!

Hola!

I am back with yet another update from our group.

We just finalised our Topic which is "Roti Canai:The Magical Dough"
I know, it might sound weird to all but this was the most interesting topic we can make out of Roti Canai. ^_^

We will put in our proposal later on. We are in the process of completing our task for this week which was to submit the Site Map,Content Sheet and also the Proposal. For more info...keep an update on our blog ya!!

Yesterday, during lunch hour, while having lunch at FCM Cafe, we had a brief discussion on how we are going to execute our approved topic and proposal. We discussed what we are going to be including inside our interactive application and what information is needed to make it very informative.

Besides that, discussed a little bit on how the design should be. Later on, we will upload our approved proposal in the blog for more information. Also with our on going sketches and design. Thank you.

Hey there.

Nabilah here. Leader of the group? Yeah, leader only by the name, but we still work as a group. After the first meeting, we came out with the proposal on the title Traditional Music in Malaysian Culture. After came out with the proposal and showed it to Cik Jee, we just have to change the title because ours is a bit common.

We're told that it's better if the topic that we're going to do had to do with us, which means that we have experienced it ourselves, so it's easier for us to get information and not forgetting, 1st hand information. Soooo, after more discussion with my other groupies, we went to 'Hang Outs' to 'Public Transportation'. Struggling to squeeze our brains for more topics, we suddenly came out with our final topic, during the last 3 minutes of MCP 1013 lecture class. Weird eh? Well, at least we have a topic now.

Why roti canai? Well, first tell me.... Anyone here in Malaysia doesn't know about roti canai? Don't tell me you don't. Even my 3 year old brother asked for roti canai for breakfast. Roti canai is actually something that can really relate to us Malaysians. Oh yeah... not only Malaysians, but also to those who came from other countries would know roti canai after staying here for several days. It's like a necessity for us~! It even creates identity of this country. You can get this roti canai whenever you want.. *well, if you know where to find it... XD*

So after the final decision about the topic, we discussed on the points that we want to show about roti canai, the character in our application, and even came out with rough ideas about the intro, etc etc. Roti canai, here we come~!!!! (not to mention, I did make one of my groupies want to eat roti canai after that, hehe)
